One of our favorite restaurants in Bohol is the Miravilla Restaurant. They have a very tasty green mango shake. This restaurant offers fresh fish and seafood where you can choose and then tell the chef how you want it cooked. We always treat the family every time we visit.

For my first visit... Lulu and I took picture at the white chair. We were excited to do the same on the second visit. On our third visit (together with Andrea), it was our plan to take another picture in the chair as a family. Too bad... the chairs were no longer there. I wish they kept the chair because it has become our tradition.

Share you nostalgic moments every Thursday at Nostalgic Marveling.

Guest post written by Jeremy Hart

Gone are the days that my recycling bin is packed with old newspapers. I work in politics – behind the scenes – so I have to make sure that I keep up with everything that’s going on in the country and world. Now I just subscribe to newspapers online instead.

Every morning when I get up, I make sure to flip on my laptop immediately and use my wildblue satellite internet to go through the morning’s news. Normally I start with the politics and give myself room to breathe with some lifestyle, and arts and entertainment stuff.

I also check my Google reader with my satellite internet Michigan that I found through wildblue internet pricing to read up on recent posts from important political blogs so I can spot any political disasters or conundrums before I head into the office and think them over during my commute.

This has bought us some extra time a few times, like when we learned that another area politician that my boss works with owed money to the IRS. As a result, we were able to turn out a press release and prepare our official statement with the media after I forwarded the breaking story to my co-workers.

When summer arrives there are many more precautions you will need to take to keep the kids safe. Here are tips for keeping your children safe and sound all summer long!

Outdoor Safety

Summer days can be hot and very humid, which is hard on the body.

  • Keep children well hydrated by supplying plenty of water.
  • Also offer a snack to replenish the energy the heat take away.
  • Sunscreen should be applied before heading outdoors and again every 2 hours.
  • Sunscreen should contain an SPF of 15 or higher.
  • Dress in light colored clothing, and wear hats and sunglasses at all times.

Home safety

  • If kids are old enough to stay home alone, ensure that you have installed an ADT securityalarm for extra protection.
  • teach children the importance of stranger danger and not answering the door or telephone.
  • Keep windows locked at all times.
  • Curtains and shades should be over all windows so noone may see inside.

Bicycle Safety

Bikes make summer fun for children! There are safety tips to remember for bike safety as well.

  • Make sure the bicycle your child is riding is appropriate for their size and not to small or large for them.
  • Children should always wear a safety helmet as well as knee and elbow pads to prevent serious injury.

The heat is almost at the point of being unbearable. The heat index reached at 110F. It was a really hot weekend for us but we have to get out as weekends are the only chance that we can get out of the house and some things.

We visited Mom and Dan (as we always do during weekend) and in the late afternoon we let Andrea swim in her portable pool with bubbles in it. She had a blast.

Today, we went to the mall to cool off. The mall has too many people in it that it was even hot there. We bought some toys for Andrea and Lulu had her cinnamon sticks! We really didn't stay long in the mall.

Lulu cooked chicken and dumplings for dinner. It was great! We haven't had chicken and dumplings in a long time and we are enjoying it.

Despite having a very hot weekend... we had fun and we bonded as family! Hope your weekend was great!

I admit that my wife is very fashionable. She always dresses good and like most women she has her collection of shoes and purses. I guess that part of her is in her Filipino blood. (Remember Imelda Marcos and her shoe collection).

When she saw the dereon robin chain royal jean she fell in love with it right away. I think it is really perfect for her though. There are many dereon products that are on sale right now, and obviously my wife is at it... wherever the sale is, you can always find my wife there. I am not complaining though as she is really a frugal shopper!

We have been waiting for the movie Green Zone to be available in Red Box. It has been available in DVD for quite sometime but it was not yet available in DVD until last Tuesday. We couldn't wait to rent the DVD as both my wife and I are very big fans of action movie plus the fact that it is a Matt Damon Movie.

Finally, we were able to watch the movie last night. It was an awesome movie. I can relate to a lot of things because I was in Military. It was really a good movie so don't forget to get a copy or rent one. I have told Lulu that I am going to buy a DVD of that movie.

Summary of the Movie from imdb
Following the American invasion of Iraq in 2003 Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller and his men are charged with finding the so-called weapons of mass destruction, whose existence justified American involvement, according to the Pentagon and their man in Baghdad, Poundsgate. Veteran CIA operative Marty tells Miller that there are no weapons, it is a deception to allow the Americans to take over the country and install a puppet leader. Also suspicious of Poundsgate is Wall Street Journal reporter Lawrie Dayne, who lets slip to Miller that Poundsgate told her he had secret talks in Jordan with an important Iraqi, code-named Magellan, who told him about the weapons, though it now seems likely Magellan's true information was to the contrary. So begins a hunt for the truth. Who's playing whom?
My step father can cook the best ribs. It is a lot better than any restaurants that I have been to. We often tease him to open his own restaurant but at the same time discourage him too because we are sure that we will be there everyday thus he will be bankrupt right away.

During family get together, he always makes his famous ribs. We always end up feeling bloated after feasting with the ribs. He also cooks more that we can eat thus we always have a take home pack.

If you will try my step father's ribs I am sure that you will forget about dieting. After you eat them I am sure that you need the best diet pill ever invented to get back with your diet routine. That's how good his ribs are. Very tempting and oh so delicious!
I am a security freak by nature. I guess I had it in me since I was in military. Whenever I am in unfamiliar places, I always look for exit signs. I condition my mind to be vigilant and alert as I don't know what will happen. I always make sure to take note of unattended bags or packages. I always look around and watch people that are suspicious looking. I have always been like this especially when I travel abroad. At the airports I am more vigilant. Well, it is better be safe than sorry as they all say.
I always respect couples who have been together all this time. I know that marriage is full of ups and downs and I know I am no expert on this topic as I have my shares of failures.

I have been married to my wife for over 3 years now and we are looking for more years of togetherness. We don't have all the comforts of life but we have each other and our little bundle of joy. We are content and we are striving to make each other happy every day.

One of our friends will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary and we are looking for a traditional 15th wedding annviversary gift that we can give to them. They are an awesome pair and we want something that they will treasure. Any suggestions?
These are my two daughters... Mischa and Andrea

These pictures were taken during their first meeting. They first met at their grandfather's place in Florence, Alabama.

I was very excited for Mischa to finally met Andrea. They bonded well and I am very happy.

This guest post from Arlene Guthrie

Do you know that feeling when you're driving along the road minding your own business and flashing blue lights go on behind you? It's not a very good feeling, is it? If you have ever been pulled over, you already know the feeling of helplessness and embarrassment you feel. The last thing you want is for someone you know to pass by and witness the event. Well, there is a show you can watch that will make you feel better. It's a show my family and I watch once per week on Directtv. It's called World's Dumbest Drivers. You think a speeding ticket is bad? You have no idea what else goes on out there.

Do you think you would be entertained watching the following events: a woman unable to park her car in a wide spot after a dozen attempts, a man driving down a one-way road the wrong way while talking on his cell phone and having no idea what's going on, a man ramming the back of an undercover police car in a fit of road rage, a couple attempting to switch seats while driving down the highway and getting stuck in the process, a man revving his engine for a street race and when the go signal is given his car jerks in reverse. If these real episodes sound funny to you, it's imperative that you watch World's Dumbest Drivers. You will definitely be entertained.

I love my family, no question about that. I always worry about their safety especially when I am not there to protect them. When I am at work, I always panic when my wife won't answer my calls. I am always scared something wrong might happen. In today's environment where nobody is safe from all the criminals in the street, we all ought to be cautious. I often remind my wife to call 911 first if anything happens.

The safety of my family is my priority that is why it is important for me to have a security system installed in our place. We also made sure that we have bars and double locks in our doors and windows. We all agree that we can't risk our safety. Our security system is provided by - an authorized dealer of ADT. If you are interested with their services, please visit their website and fill out the form. After you fill it out a home security specialist will contact you for a free consultation.

There are many ways to keep our family safe and secure. You can read some police security tips online. Police are reminding people to practice safe techniques to make sure homes and belongings are safe and secure. One of the most important thing to remember is to make sure that doors and windows are locked and not leaving the garage door open. In addition to that, Fort Worth, PD has a checklist that is designed to assist every individual in making a security survey of his own home. The survey will help identify security weaknesses. Take the survey and you will be surprise how much you can improve the safety and security of your own home.

Did you know that there's a booming city in the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina? There's a decent chance you have heard of Asheville, but going there is a completely different experience. Asheville is a very artsy town. You will find many art galleries as well as sculptures on the city streets. In addition to that, there will be many outdoor eateries as well as other attractions. It's recommended that you visit the botanical gardens and do the urban trail. Both of these are a lot of fun.

I only know about Asheville because I recently planned and took a trip with my family. Once I logged onto my satellite internet in San Diego CA, I found out that going to Ashville would require quite some travel. This was good news considering I love the thrill of travel. Once there, we stopped and ate. We saw the attractions listed above, and then we went to the Biltmore Estate. This is the largest residential home in the United States. Not only is it an amazing experience, but the food is incredible. Everything is made fresh and taken from the grounds. The only downside for the Biltmore Estate is that it's expensive. Try to find discounts using hughes net CA if you can. They're out there. And this is an experience you don't want to miss - even if you have to pay full price.

It has been a busy day for me. I had to go see my gastroenterologist and have to go to work after that. I almost forget about this meme. I know it is almost late but as they say better late than never. Guys, please visit The Bumbles Blog the home of Monday Movie Meme.

For good laughs and to ease my boredom blues I watch these:

I was so happy to find this movie on sale at Blockbuster (the store is closing). I find this movie very hilarious...

Despite the fact that wife hates this movie, I always enjoy watching it. I usually watch this when wife is out with her friends.

The following movies are the ones I have seen countless of times and I will watch them again at any given time.

I had an appointment at 2pm today to see my gastroenterologist. The nurses and staff of the clinic were all so sorry as my gastroenterogist is late because his morning patient which requires a procedure was late.

I hate being late for a doctor's appointment. For me, being late to a doctor's appointment is tacky (unless of course there are valid reasons). Like today, if that patient has been on time, I wouldn't wait long for my doctor to see me.

My doctor gave me new medicine for my Ulcerative Colitis. He gave me enough sample to see if this medicine will work before I will fill up the prescription. Let's see what will happens. Hopefully this will work!

When I watched TV, I always flicked into different channels. Meaning to say, I always have the remote in me. I am sure that most wives share the same sentiments when it comes to the story of the remote control. I often heard my wife and her girlfriends talked about it but it doesn't bother me as it is true anyway.

I have my lists of favorite shows and favorite channels. I like the Military channel and the history channel. Some other times, when these channels show the same episodes, I often use the TV Service Guide to look for shows that will interest me. The TV Service Guide is very useful as it lets you know about the show and its description. You can even auto tune the show that you want to watch using the remote. I am a night owl, so late at night I often watch interesting shows or sometimes I just put on the TV for background noise while I am surfing the web.

It is a great advantage that we got a good package from Direct TV packages. I enjoyed all the shows especially the sports channels. I really can't wait for the football season to start again. Our whole family always have fun watching football games and cheering for our favorite team.

When it comes to my tv service, which is the Direct TV, I can't complain as I am satisfied with their services. When I encounter problem with it, their customer services is very accommodating. I also heard good things about the services offered by Dish Network. I think that it really doesn't matter what your tv service is, as long as you are satisfied with their price and their services.

Most athletes use hgh to improve their sports performance. In some other cases, people use hgh to prevent aging. Did you know that in the US, using hgh is illegal unless you have a prescription?

Sometimes I wonder why there are so many hgh users if it is illegal without prescription? That is a question I need to dig to find some answers. Anyway, if you are interested to try if hgh production is good in preventing the effects of aging, there are various supplements that will stimulate natural HGH production in the body.
Teenage year is a time when many changes occurs. Physical change is very evident at this time. This is also the time when you wanted to explore so many things.

Part of being a teenager is to face the ever challenging physical change. Some are lucky enough not to have acne on their faces but a few will be spared from this. If you are spared from this, then you should rejoice as you belong to a few who doesn't need to deal with the effects of acne. Most teenagers are bothered by acne that at some point it lowers their self-esteem. There are ways to cope when face with this situation and looking for an effective acne treatment is one of them. If you try to think of it as just a phase of growing up, I am sure you will have a better understanding of it.
I love Bohol, Philippines and if I am to retire, it will be in Bohol. I love the people and the place.

The picture above was taken at the Butterfly Sanctuary in Sagbayan Peak. I had the chance to visit this place twice and I will visit it again the next time we will have our Bohol vacation. I am sure Andrea will have a good time visiting this place.

We are so looking forward to our next vacation. Andrea will be old enough to appreciate things by that time and we will surely visit all of Bohol's wonders.

In our family, we share household chores. I really don't mind helping my wife in doing household chores. I know that taking care of our daughter is a job as it is that is why as much as possible, I helped her in doing things around our place.

I helped her do our laundry although most of the time she will complain on how I fold our clothes. I do the mopping in our kitchen and I am the designated cleaner of our bathroom. I scrubbed our bath tub, our Saniflo toilet and our bathrooms tiles. I always make sure that our bathroom is clean and that the bathtub is clean because my daughter loves to take a bath and play bubbles on it.
Is your car insurance the cheapest car insurance that you can find? Did you get it online or from your local agent?

There are thousands of insurance provider that you can find both online and offline. One thing is for sure, they all served its purpose. As car insurance is a necessity, there is a big scope of business for car insurance. Because there are many providers that offer different services, it is wise for us buyers to shop around for the cheapest premium that we can find from a reliable insurance provider. Personally, it is better for me to pay a little extra amount of money as long as my provider is reliable. I need a reliable insurance provider that will help me when the time comes that I will need them.

How about you? What are your basis in selecting an insurance provider?
One afternoon, we got so tired that my daughter and I were sleeping so soundly in our couch. Of course, wife being the paparazzi in the family didn't let the chance to pass by and not able to capture this sweet moment.

She showed me the picture when we woke up and I am glad the paparazzi is always ready as I find these pictures very sweet.

I have been skinny all my life. During my younger years, I have so much energy. I was a very hyper child and I was a very active in sports. I can't stand being idle. I sometimes do two or three things at once.

Because I have remained skinny all these years, I don't need a diet pill to help me loss weight. I don't need to loss weight as I am skinny as it is. I heard many people who have weight problems and I am thankful that I am not one of them. I know some that uses different kind of weight loss products and I have even read different side effects of diet pills. I guess everyone has different problems in some ways. I am just lucky (I guess) that I don't have problems when it comes to my weight.
Lately, I have been feeling so weak at all times. I wonder if it is my blood sugar. After a stressful and busy day at work, I always find myself very weak and no energy to do things anymore. I know it is unfair to my family but I just can't have the energy to play and do little things with my daughter.

I am just thankful that I have a doctor's appointment next week. I need a wellness check. I will also want to ask her about best supplements that I can take to maintain a good health. I know I am getting older but it doesn't mean that I have to be weaker everyday. I know how important health is, that's why I am going to see my doctor.
I am not a smart shopper. I often go to the store, get what I want then pay the cashier and go out. I don't have the patience to look for deals or to look around for better prices. Things change though...

After being married to a frugal wife, which I am very thankful, I have learned to be a constant user of barcode scanner in a store. This barcode scanners are very useful as it will let you know the price of certain items. My wife usually fusses at me if I buy things that are pricey. If I am not sure of the price of an item I just go to the place that says "Fine Price Here".

I am learning ways to shop for better deals now or I will get a long lecture. Of course, wife is always right!

Most of my family lives spread out all over the country and it used to be quite a task keeping in touch with them. About a year ago I got hughes net internet service, which opened my eyes to social networking. I got started on Myspace, then eventually Facebook. It was really cool to be able to connect with my cousins and my brother's family. We never really got to catch up unless we went to the family reunions, which only take place once a year. Now that I can access my social networking sites with my phone, they can always share what is going on with them in their lives at all times with me.

I like that I can talk to them at any time also if I am feeling down or gloomy, and need support. We all used to be restricted to paying high long distance fees to be able to talk, or just send emails. Now we have a fully interactive experience that is quite enjoyable thanks to hughes satelite equipment prices, especially with all of the new Facebook features. We can share pictures with each other in a matter of seconds, which makes us seem like we are not quite as far away as we really are. Even my Grandma gets on Facebook now, which is pretty cute if you ask me. It is more fun than anything else to do online, that is for sure!

There are a couple of movies that unknown to many are worth watching despite the fact that they were never recognized in the Oscars.

This is my share...

Terry is having an affair with his boss' wife Sylvia. One night after an office party they are together and Sylvia witnesses an attack on Denise from Terry's bedroom window. She doesn't want to expose their relationship and so is reluctant about talking to the police. Terry, wanting to help, gives the police the description of the attacker. He soon becomes the main suspect in the case. He then sets to find the real rapist/killer with some help from victim Denise.

Jack Nicholson re-teams with his “Five Easy Pieces” director in this noir crime drama about a lowlife in Florida planning a jewelry heist who brings in an even lower life (brilliantly played by Michael Caine) as his partner. On top of that he has a bitter, angry wife (Judy Davis), a suspicious and resentful stepson and a sexy Latin mistress (Jennifer Lopez) with an agenda all her own. This is a well thought out crime drama with meticulous details that help bring everything together.

A firm believer in the Holy Quran, Samir Horn, American citizen and former soldier, lives a middle-classed lifestyle along with his girlfriend, Chandra Dawkin. He is actively involved in selling explosives to Jihadis. While in a Yemeni prison, Samir is attacked, and another inmate, Omar, comes to his aid. Both men become close friends, subsequently escape from prison, re-locate to France and elude authorities for some time. Both men re-enter the U.S., meet with Fareed Mansour and Nathir, and together they plan to place bombs in 50 Greyhound buses (one for each State). Using modern sophisticated methods - the foursome recruit 50 volunteers to carry out this gruesome task, quite confident that they will not be stopped in time by the U.S. authorities.

This week is really a wonderful topic as we can share what movies we missed. Head out to the Bumbles Blog with guest blogger Terry Kate. Click image below.

It’s summer time again and, like most Americans, that means baseball! As a Philadelphia resident, I try to catch all the Phillies games on satellite tv indian channels every chance I get. I cannot imagine anything more patriotic than filling out a baseball stat tracking form from the cool comfort of my couch while enjoying an ice cold Yuengling. It is not just for nostalgia, or even to feel connected to the rest of America, that I enjoy watching the games. Baseball is a wonderful sport for those who really take the time to understand its complexities and depth.

The chess like battle of strategy between the batter, pitcher and catcher that occurs with every single pitch is a thing of beauty for those who see what is actually happening. Many of my friends complain that baseball is too slow for them, but they miss the point. There is constant action happening with every pitch, every hit, and every out. If you only see the runs scored, then you are missing the entire point of the sport of baseball. That would be like watching boxing only for the knock outs and ignoring the true beauty of the sweet science.

When I get home from work every day, and flip on the big screen its MLB all the way for this fat old man from Philly.

After a hard day of work, I love sitting on my favorite recliner to watch some of my favorite football reruns. My favorite team in particular is the University of Michigan. Did you know that U of M has played in 39 bowl games in its history? That is phenomenal for a college football team. Watching U of M games on my satellite television is a leisurely hobby unlike any other.

U of M has a bowl game record of 19-20. In 2008, that was the first year that the University of Michigan missed a bowl game. Can you believe that? The University of Michigan had played in a bowl game for 33 years up until that point. Even more amazing, the University of Michigan held a winning season for 40 straight years prior to that as well.

There are two great rivalries that U of M faces in college football and I am always sure to catch those games on television. I travel quite frequently so I am unable to attend the games. The two rivals are Ohio State University and Notre Dame University. There are also two rivalry trophy games that U of M participates in, and those are the Little Brown Jug (Minnesota) and the Paul Bunyan Trophy (Michigan State).

College football is the perfect sport for people that like passion, enthusiasm, and history with their sports.

I was looking through some pictures when I saw these. These was taken during my first trip to Philippines.

Lulu and I were just friends that time. No strings attached just pure friendship. No high expectations but only to meet each other. I had a great time meeting the whole family and enjoying the beauty of Bohol.

Well to make the story short... we became lovers, we got engaged, got married and here we are now with our little girl Andrea.... Life has never been better!

I like watching sports games. When I was younger, I used to play a lot of baseball and football. I consider myself very athletic, so despite my size I played well.

Anyway, during our weekend get away in Atlanta, we could have watched live baseball games at Turner Field but since it was an early game, my wife was not convinced because she is worried that it will be too hot for her and our daughter. I was just throwing some options for us to do, after all it was our vacation.

I am hoping that the next time we visit my sister-in-law in New Jersey, we will be able to watch a baseball game in Wachovia Center. Their place is just a few miles from Wachovia Center so, it will be easy for us to watch the games there.

We really like to see some live baseball games (as long as it is a night schedule). Since we plan to attend the wedding of my niece in St. Petersburgh next year, it will be a good idea to watch the Tampa Bay Rays at the Tropicana Field.

As I am a big Cardinals fan, my ultimate dream is to watch Albert Pujols and his team as they play in Busch Stadium. My co-worker told me that driving to St. Louis from where we are will just be 6 hours. Perhaps, we will go there one day.
Opps... not my family but my work place. At present we are renting steel buildings for our office and our dock. We will be moving to a building that our company owns which means no more rent to pay for us. The good thing with the proposed is it is a mile closer to where I live.

I actually dreaded the day that we are going to move because I know it will be a lot of work. It will take time to set up our computers and its networking but I think that the proposed move will be good for the business.

I have been to the new place just to check it out. It has more space that what we have now. The building is pretty nice and we will be working in the 2nd floor.

Do you love your pet dog? Do you and your family have a bond with that puppy unlike anyone else? Then you must see the movie "Marley and Me." This film is truly a love story between a family and their pet dog named Marley. Watching this film on Movies on Demand on our satellite tv bundle provided one of the best bonding experiences for my family that we have ever had.

"Marley and Me" will leave you with tears streaming down your face. The film depicts how one dog ultimately influenced the successes and journalism career of one man. One man became so inspired by the trouble Marley created, that he wrote about Marley in his weekly column for a newspaper. The column became one of the most read in Florida, ultimately allowing the man to take on larger journalism gigs. As the family continues to achieve success, Marley the dog becomes plagued with an illness. The dog grows sicker and sicker, which leaves the family devastated. Ultimately, Marley dies and the family has to cope with the tragic loss and the pain Marley's loss has created. This film is a story of one families struggles to cope with love and loss.

"Marley and Me" is a great film for the family that can teach you and your kids how to prepare for coping with the loss of a beloved pet.

A month ago, I decided to improve the condition of our bathroom. I did some caulking and a lot of scraping. We also installed new shower panels. We bought shower panels that were easy to install so I didn't have a problem doing it myself. It took me few hours to finish the job but we are so happy of the end result.

While I was doing things in the bath tub, Lulu was busy cleaning up the bathroom cabinets. We cleaned up the supplies in the bathroom and put a new set of decors in it too. We spent a couple of hundreds but it was worth it.

Right now we are enjoying the high pressure capabilities of our new shower panels which allow us to experience extremely therapeutic and relaxing shower. We were so glad that we decided to improve and change the look of our bathroom. It somehow make the bathroom bigger. Our next project will be buying towel warmers. We thought that we will wait a couple of months (in time for winter) to buy it.
I am a proud American thus I am flying the flag in commemoration of independence day! myspace graphic comments

Happy Independence Day!

iPhone had become an important gadget that allows its users to do many things online. An iPhone functions as a camera phone, including text messaging and visual voicemail, a portable media player, and an Internet client, with e-mail, web browsing, and Wi-Fi connectivity. With its many capabilities comes a price that is somehow higher than most phones.

Accredited online colleges are an option for learning more about how to develop new iPhone apps.

An iPhone is not for me. I am not your usual techno guy. I actually just use my phone to call. I am sure that it will take a while before I will be able to familiarize myself with the capabilities of an iPhone. On the other hand, I think my wife will love it. If I will buy her one, I am sure that I will include an iphone warranty. Purchasing a warranty will make me feel safe knowing that an expensive gadget will be covered for any situation that may arise.
Many people have hemorrhoids at some time. Actually, there are about 10 million Americans who suffer from hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the rectum or around the anus. Hemorrhoids can either be internal or external. External hemorrhoids more commonly cause symptoms of pain and itching when irritated. Internal hemorrhoids generally are painless but can cause bleeding. Your doctor can tell you what type of hemorrhoid you are suffering from. The doctor can make certain test.

There are of course different hemorrhoid treatment. A good prevention of hemorrhoids is to include fiber in your diet. By changing your lifestyle you can also prevent flaring up hemorrhoids. So start drinking plenty of water, exercise and put more fiber to your diet and I am sure you will get rid of hemorrhoids.
Watching television is a very common past time especially for kids. I actually grow up watching all my favorite tv shows. Up until now, I still enjoy watching television specials and other history programs. Of course, I am for sure glued on TV during football season. My daughter who is over 2 years old has her own favorite TV shows too. The Nick channel has bee a good channel for her as she learns so many things on it.

I can't imagine not having a television service now. I was glad that we bought a television service package that offers all the family programs and sports programs that we all enjoy to watch. I know that it is hard to choose which provider to choose when talking about television service. I think that you can compare the Dish specials that Dish network is offering with the cable specials offered by Time Warner. Both of this providers has its own promotions. Whatever suits your needs is the one you need to choose. One thing I can advice though, if you are interested in saving money for your tv service, check out the available specials in your area. There are deals that you can avail at a discounted price. At you can always find the best deals on the best television. Check them out today and by entering the zip code of your location, you can view their current promotion in your area right away. Start saving now while enjoying the best shows in TV.

July 4th is around the corner. This is the time of the year where most families will have a 4th of July weekend getaway. For us, we will just stay home because I need to work overtime. It is not that bad for me because I can use the extra money.

Most families with RV's will be swarming in the camping grounds for sure. I have never camped with an RV because I don't have one. I looked at the prices of used rvs for sale and I found out that it is way beyond my budget. I don't see myself owning an RV in the near future as I don't have a budget for it. I guess I will just bring my family to the real camping then since it is more affordable.
Work safety is very important in my line of work. Because I work in a freight business, I sometimes check some freights in the dock. Although I handle custom papers, there are times that I have to weigh in some freights to make sure that the charges are correct.

At work, all of us are concerned with our work safety. It is imperative that all of the guys wear boots. Well, it works fine with me as I am an advocate of safety at work.

How important is safety at your work place? Do you have safety committee like ours?
It is a delight to see old pictures. This was my late grandmother and my daughter Mischa. I am glad that I have a picture of my grandmother and Mischa together.

This is really an old picture... Mischa is already 22 years old now.

There are many women who excels in the corporate world. To me it doesn't matter who leads the operation of the company, my respect towards them is still the same.

Working in the corporate world means wearing proper wardrobe as well. The way you dress will depict your personality and your position. I remember that decades ago women in the corporate world will be trotting a womens briefcase because she has a lot of important documents to carry. Nowadays though, with the improvement of technology, corporate people no longer need to bring a heavy briefcase as most of the records and documents that they need can be stored electronically. There are now different gadgets that makes corporate life easier.
Fishing is an activity that is very relaxing for me. How I wish that I have my own house with a pond on it. I know that having a pond can be a lot of work as it will require a lot of maintenance to make sure that the pond is clean.

Every time I can pass by a pond that looks like it needs a lot of cleaning, it make me think of the pond filters that can help them maintain their pond. I wonder if they ever think about it or they just decided to just leave their ponds as it is.

If only the pond is mine... I am sure it will look a lot different and a lot better!
While watching my daughter Andrea dancing, singing and imitating everything that is going on in her favorite Dora show, it make me wish that we have a camcorder to record her actions. It will be a beautiful sight to see when she will be grown up.

I can't imagine what life would be without my daughter. I know I am blessed because I have two precious daughters, a wonderful wife, and a family that truly supports me. I don't think I can ask for more!
This is our daily routine... Andrea likes to help me tie my shoes. She learns to say pull... circle...loop... pull

It is a fact that the medical field offers job security even if there is a recession. I kept on urging my wife to look into going back to school for a brighter future. I won't be here forever (as much as I want to) to provide for them and when I am gone I want them to have a secure future. If she is interested into medical field, I want her to check out medical assisting school and see if she wants to do it. I told her that if she has to do it one subject at a time, in the long run she will be able to get it done. I know we have to adjust our hours if she decides to go to school but we all have to sacrifice for a brighter future.
We were supposed to have a vacation in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and spend a few days enjoying the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. We were already scouting for cabin rentals. There were plenty of cabin rentals in Gatlinburg and most of them are furnished with rustic furniture. We were so excited about the place but on the last minute we have to cancel our vacation due to some unforeseen circumstances.

Canceling our vacation was a decision we will not regret as we have to prioritize things. We are still hoping that maybe next year we can go to Gatlinburg, Tennessee and have our family vacation in the Smoky Mountains.
