When my wife got pregnant, we were excited and nervous. I was nervous because I had bad experience when I lost my first born son years ago. I lost a son few hours after he was born. The pain is still there and I don't want to experience losing a child again.
We were so careful during my wife's pregnancy. We never miss doctor's appointments and we followed doctor's order including taking prenatal multivitamin. I know my wife doesn't forget to take her prenatal vitamins but just the same, I always remind her not to forget taking it.
Despite all precautions, my wife gave birth to a premature baby. I was scared. I can't describe my feelings looking at my daughter in NICU. Everything seems like a blur and it happened very unexpectedly.
My daughter stayed in NICU for almost two months. A hard and painful two months of our lives. Thankfully we surpassed it all. My daughter is very healthy and bouncy now!
