I Have Ulcerative Colitis

Two years ago, I was diagnosed of having an Ulcerative Colitis. It is a form of inflammatory bowel disease. Ulcerative is a disease of the intestine, specifically the large intestine or colon, that includes characteristic ulcers, or open sores, in the colon. The main symptom of active disease is usually constant diarrhea mixed with blood, of gradual onset. When my UC flares up, it is really awful. During these episodes, my hemorrhoids will also flare up. My hemorrhoids is the least of my worries though because I can always self-medicate it. I always have hemorrhoids cream at home because I never know when my UC strikes again.
